PTO Funding Updates

With the new year off to a start, we thought we'd use this opportunity to list some of the PTO fundraising totals from the fall and how we've been allocating and distributing those funds.

  • Spent so far in the 2023-2024 school year:

    • 9 teacher reimbursements for $150 each, for a total of $1,350 for classroom supplies

    • $1,624 for fresh fruit for classroom snacks

    • $3,478 for headphones and storage for every classroom

    • $299 for pickleball supplies

    • $50 for snacks for after school clubs and sports

    • $2,780 for busses and field trips

    • $100 for Start with Hello week

    • $140 for Science Olympiad

    • $300 for Girls on the Run

    • $680 for staff appreciation

    • $608 for color ink

    • $102 for a first grade grant for pocket charts

    • 39 T-Shirts provided to Choir Club

23/24 Volunteers Needed

The PTO is looking for volunteers for our monthly engagement events and new board members.

Our volunteers and board members are parents, teachers, grandparents, staff - anyone with a dedication and commitment to making our students' experience at Harney an enriching one, as well as ensuring our Harney families are connected to their school and staff.

Current board positions needed include:

  • Auction committee members

  • Family Event Co-Coordinator
